BloombergNEF (BNEF) announced the winners of its 2023 Pioneers Award, recognizing 12 companies working to introduce technologies and products pushing the world to a net-zero global economy.
According to BNEF, the annual competition searches the globe for “game-changing technologies or innovations with the potential to accelerate global decarbonization and halt climate change” and this year 12 winners were chosen out of 348 applications.
Nth Cycle was nominated, and won, in the category of ‘Sustainable Metals and Materials for an Electrified Future’ as our modular unit, The Oyster, and process of Electro-Extraction, has been proven by a third-party to reduce GHG emissions by 92% compared to traditional methods. Further, we aim to recover metals from a variety of feedstocks and keep them in circulation forever.
