Nth Cycle, the innovative metal processing and recycling technology company, announced today that renowned commodities analyst and President of the Commodity Research Group, Edward Meir will join its board of directors. Meir brings more than 35 years of experience in the commodities and metals industries to Nth Cycle and will help guide the company’s strategy as it expands its metal processing operations across North America.

Meir began his career as a commodities analyst with Drexel Burnham Lambert leading the firm’s research on sugar, coffee, and cocoa before he was recruited by Trans World Metals to trade aluminum, tin, and steel. Meir founded his own metals consultancy, Commodities Research Group, in 1993. His agency has led research on precious and base metals for a number of leading firms including MF Global, StoneX, and ED&F Man Capital. Fastmarkets awarded Meir its highest ranking for the most accurate forecaster in the LME metals in five of the last ten years and he attained a top five ranking in precious metals in four of the past six years.
